Welcome to Buckley Home Inspection. We are licensed by the State of Tennessee; our current service area is Bradley, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, Meigs, and Sequatchie Counties. We are currently seeking licensing in the states of Alabama and Georgia. We are fully insured with General Liability and Error & Omissions policies as required by the State of Tennessee. The following web pages have samples of reports; a calendar with which you can schedule your own inspection; contact information if you would like to schedule an inspection personally and/or ask questions about the inspection process.
Purchasing a home is an exciting time; it can also be extremely stressful and hurried. Having a qualified inspector will help ease your mind about the prospective property. The inspector will systematically go around the outside, inside, under and over the property and identify the good points and the drawbacks of the property. This inspection will be a thorough visual inspection of all structural, exterior, interior, electrical, plumbing and HVAC components of the home.
TRAINING
The inspectors training consists of classroom education, report writing, and several inspections of actual homes not replicas. Training is on-going due to all the new advances in construction materials and in regard to “Green Built” homes and buildings.
THE INSPECTION PROCESS
The inspector will arrive at the scheduled time. Inspector will go over the pre-inspection contract, receive payment, inspector and client will sign contract. Inspector will then commence with the inspection of the prospective property. The inspection should take approximately one and a half to two hours depending on size of property.
At the conclusion of the inspection the inspector will compile the report for delivery. (Delivery of the report will be determined during the signing of the pre-inspection agreement.)
